Alison brings a strong foundation in interior architecture to each project, and is very experienced in working with architects, builders and craftsmen.
After relocating to Houston, Alison spent four years under the tutelage of interior designer Sandy Lucas of Lucas/Eilers Design Associates where she was published in numerous features and received many local accolades. In DC, Alison worked as the direct assistant to a sought after designer in the Washington metropolitan area. She later moved to Washington, DC and obtained her Bachelor of Arts in Interior Design from Marymount University (CIDA). Born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia, Alison graduated from Vanderbilt University and began her career in Charleston, South Carolina working for a premier interior design boutique. Alison Meyer founded her eponymous firm in 2011. The firm believes in creating timeless interiors imparting a Neo-traditional style by blending antiques and contemporary elements resulting in spaces that are refined, comfortable, practical, interesting, restrained, and thoughtfully edited. The firm specializes in high quality interiors that demonstrate a commitment to the elegance of classic styles with the simplicity of contemporary design.
